Re-weld Policy and Care
Please note that while our pieces are made to stand the test of time- permanent jewelry is not invincible and can break if snagged or pulled with enough force.
A jump-ring is used to prevent injuries if for any reason your piece(s) of jewelry were to break. When enough tension is applied to the chain it will break at the weld point vs. the chain itself.
Re-welds of pieces purchased from Lucid Links are free for the lifetime of the chain. Foreign chain re-welds after are subject to a $15 fee.
Our policy does not cover snags and breakage due to negligence. These pieces are considered to be demi-fine and should be treated as such. We are not responsible for breaks due to snags, stretching, or broken and lost chains. Please take care with the activities you may participate in that could result in your piece becoming damaged.
If your chain is broken anywhere but at the jump-ring weld point and cannot be re-welded back to its original state, a new chain will need to be purchased.
We recommend that you clean your jewelry on a regular basis to keep your pieces free of debris and build up. This can be done by washing gently with mild soap and warm water. Dry completely, and then follow up with a polishing cloth.
Please avoid direct contact with lotions, perfumes, sunscreens, etc.

Permanent jewelry is custom and applied with a welding machine designed for fragile metals. A jump-ring is used to connect the chain ends together, and the spark welds the jump-ring closed to create a seamless piece (clasp-less jewelry).
-
The jewelry created by Lucid Links is not considered “children’s jewelry”.
The minimum age to receive permanent jewelry by Lucid Links is 8 years old. A waiver must be signed and a parent or legal guardian must be present for any child under 16 years old.
If your child is frightened by the sound of the weld but still wants a jewelry piece, a clasp can be added for an additional cost. Safety is my #1 priority! -
Not at all! The spark that is generated is not of high heat and makes contact with only the metal it is touching. The electrode will not spark if touched by you.
-
Yes. If you need to remove your jewelry for any reason (X-rays, MRIs, work related, etc.) the jump ring can be cut at the weld with cutters. Don’t forget to save your chain in case you would like to have it re-welded or add a clasp (fee applies).

No. Due to each piece being completely customized and fit to you, all sales are final.

The metals used in our chains are of high quality and meant to be worn at all times. All of our chains are tested by our trusted suppliers. Sterling silver can oxidize and darken over time but don’t worry! Apply some silver cleaner and wipe with a polishing cloth to make your sterling silver shine!
-
We offer one complimentary reattachment with every piece purchased! After the first reattachment, a $15 re-weld fee will apply. If the chain is no longer in its original condition (stretched out links or breaks in chain) a new chain will need to be purchased.
